About the show:
Come enjoy an evening of Broadway classics with award-winning power-couple Lindy and Greg Pendzick, accompanied by the Empress Quartet, at Salem's Historic Grand Theatre!
Greg and Lindy Pendzick are an internationally acclaimed and award-winning husband-and-wife team of actor/singer/dancers. Ever since they first met in 2006, they have been performing together on stages across the United States and abroad. They moved to Vancouver, Washington in 2017 to perform on the American Empress Riverboat.
Greg hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and earned his BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. Favorite past roles include Edward Rutledge in “1776,” Seymour Krelborn in “Little Shop of Horrors,” Marius Pontmercy in “Les Miserables,” for which he was awarded “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical” from Broadwayworld.com, and 22 separate characters, including a horse, in the children’s touring production of “Into the West.”
Lindy is originally from Palatka, Florida. She earned a BM in Vocal Performance from Stetson University, and earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University. Some of her favorite roles include Maria von Trapp in “The Sound of Music,” Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady,” Cosette in “Les Miserables,” Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors,” and Marian Paroo in “The Music Man.”

The Empress Quartet are a 4-piece Jazz, Pop & Rock band who’ll play everything from Broadway to Disco and back again. They’ve been thrilling audiences with Lindy and Greg since 2014.
Marcus Harbaugh (piano) spent 17 years working on top-ranked cruise ships around the world as a band leader, arranger, lead singer, Cruise Director, and Entertainment Manager. Now back on land, he’s excited to be rejoining the local Salem music scene leading the Empress Quartet.
Brian Myers (Reeds & Flute) is an educator, recording artist, and performer who grew up playing with the Salem Bid Band in the early 2000s. In addition to pit orchestra as Stumptown Stages and the Broadway Rose Theater Company, Brian has played with numerous jazz, blues, pop, and chamber groups including The Temptations, the Four Tops, Ben Rice, and Johnny Wheels and the Swamp Donkeys.
Jeff Abbott (Drums) is a Florida transplant who has played jazz, theater, blues and pop music for going on 40 years. He has worked Royal Caribbean ships all over Europe and to Alaska, and he moved to the PNW in 2018. He has performed with the Mills Brothers, Charo, John Davidson, Wayne Bergeron and he toured the US as the first drummer for “Menopause: the Musical.”
Clay Parkman (Bass) has worked with including Cierra Mickens (The Voice), Kansas, J. Robert Spencer (Jersey Boys) and Chibia, and others. In Portland, Clay also works as a band leader, leading projects ranging from straight ahead jazz to more groove based neo soul and fusion groups. His group Bad Panda was nominated for Best Jazz Artist by Willamette Weekly.
